Poison Arrows Part II:
How to Find More Poison Arrows

Poison arrows are the type of energy that has the ability to cut and do serious damage. The worst part is that they can sometimes be very hard to find. Other times, they ares very obvious. Case in point is the T-intersection of a road. Or, a square column at the entry to a building whose edges point at the front door. These can do all kinds of damage.
But, some of the worst effects can be felt when the arrows come from behind or overhead. K-Mart stores suffered from this type of feng shui. Many of the stores had two entrances with a very serious (and RED) poison arrow pointing at the tops of their customers' heads. The photo below shows the arrows in red.
As you can see, the arrows point at the entrances, killing opportunity, wealth, and good relationships with customers. This is a "deadly" poison arrow because it is at the most important place -- the entrance! Hopefully, K-Mart will look at some new architectural changes for their stores in the near future.
For more tips on spotting poison arrows follow the suggestions below.
1. Check windows.
Windows often have arrow-type designs like those above the door in the picture above. These can be harmful, especially if they are over the front door. Either use another door as your main door or replace the windows. You can also try putting small mirrors close to the windows so that the arrows are reflected. If the arrows terminate at a half circle, then you need not worry.
2. Do you have bookshelves or cabinets behind you?
Bookshelves or tables behind you can create poison arrows in the form of "knife blades." These are also very harmful. Move the shelves so that they are not behind you -- nor directly facing you, either.
3. Are there square columns at your front door?
If you have square columns in front of your home or your front door, you may also have poison arrows pointed at you. If this is the case, try to remedy the columns by planting vines around them to soften the hard edges. Round columns are usually not a problem because they don't have any sharp edges.
4. Are there square columns in your home or office?
If you have columns in your house or office, they may be giving off poison arrows. This is especially true if you are seated between columns, such as when you are dining. Either wrap the column with plants and vines or cover the columns with mirrors. The mirrors actually make the columns "disappear." This is very effective in offices where square columns often are used to run electrical lines.
5. Do you have vertical blinds?
Vertical blinds also give off "knife edge" energy. Why are these worse than other types of blinds? Usually vertical blinds are very large. Size creates extra negative energy in this case. Replace these with small miniblinds or drapes.
6. Do you have arrow designs in your home or office?
Although these are popular designs, arrows are not good choices for the home or office. Arrows are often found in fabrics and decorating accessories. If you have arrows, try to position them so they are pointing anywhere that will cause harm. Or, replace these with other symbols or colors.
7. Do you have "X"s or +'s anywhere?
If you face an X or a + in the landscape outside of your home or office, you will need to deflect this negative energy. Right now, +'s are very popular in designs. Many people hhang up crucifixes or crosses as decorative elements. This is not good feng shui -- especially if it faces you coming into the room, the front door, or while you are sleeping. However, +'s can be two streets or roads that cross in front of your home or office, or they can be in the design of a fence that stares at your property or on a roofline of a neighbor's house. They could also be in the fabric on furniture! Keep an eye out for both. If you have this facing the front of your home or business, it becomes even more serious.
8. Exposed beams in your home?
Although these are very popular and stylish now, exposed beams emit harsh energy. If you are thinking about adding beams to your designs, give it a second thought. Exposed beams are not wise feng shui choices and create an oppressive energy and the sense that something is "on top of you."
