East- and Southeast-facing houses are houses that can boost occupants' health and family relationships (east), and their wealth and prosperity (Southeast).  

With this facing direction is it best to paint your house with "water" (blue, black, purple) or "woodl" colors (green, brown). A perfect example of this is the house that is green with black shutters and front door.  Or, a pale blue house with white trim and a deep eggplant for a front door.  Use your imagination and you'll come up with all kinds of auspicious color combinations that enhance your health, relationships, and make you prosperous!
